i invite you to be aware of your body as you pray this prayer and think of every body part mentioned in it. Slow down and breathe.

Holy one, breathe new life into this day so my soul may be renewed.

Lord awaken my body and receive my senses.
Grant me strength for my body,

peace for my mind,

hope in my heart,

safety for my legs,

meaningful work for my hands,

serenity for my spirit,

softness in my eyes,

tranquility for my ears,

patience for my tongue,

grace to deal with others,

and compassion when I judge myself.

Lord breathe new life in me, and with Your Holy Spirit, renew my body and spirit.
