PPC Committees

Parkview is fueled by its volunteers, many of whom serve on our standing committees. If you would like to join one of these committees, please contact the pastor. Everyone is welcome. Click here to read the list of current PPC officers.

  • Buildings & Grounds: Manage the maintenance, security, and well-being of the church property, including the buildings and grounds. Discern when outside help is required and communicate property needs to the session
  • Budget & Finance: Manage church budget, approve financial decisions of the church, oversee stewardship campaigns, and communicate with leaders of fundraisers. Betsy Eskridge, Tak Fukuman
  • Christian Education: Provide Christian education and formation opportunities for members and friends of all generations. Select or create age-appropriate curriculum. Teachings shall be consistent with the Christian faith and charitable to a diversity of perspectives. Coordinate volunteers and leadership.
  • Music & Worship: Provide meaningful Christian worship with the congregation. Select music that witnesses to the gospel of Jesus Christ and engages the community. Coordinate planning efforts with pastors, musicians, and members. Do you have a new way to create the worship team schedule?
  • Nominating: Identify, recruit, screen, and interview candidates for leadership positions within the church, including session members. As needed.
  • Outreach: Connect Parkview to the local community, identify community needs and offer support as possible, provide opportunities for congregation engagement. Lead outreach efforts to be the “public face” of the church. How can we show up in the streets, community and welcome them to the church?
  • Personnel: Ensure policies, procedures, and processes are in place to support church staff and volunteers. ensure church employees have the training and tools to perform their job, are held accountable for achieving goals, and are compensated appropriately for their efforts. Do you have personnel background and can help out?
  • Stewardship: To plan a year-round stewardship program in support of the church offering envelopes that take place on Easter, Aloha Sunday, Thanksgiving, and Christmas. What are different ways to encourage people to engage in the financial health of the church.
