What a blessed day we had on September 6, 2020 as Pastor Pamela baptized Irene Uno, and the congregation welcomed Irene, Michael Wright, and Luda Wright as new members to Parkview. With the church closed in this time of pandemic, Parkview got creative. The pastoral staff delivered our worship service, as usual, via Facebook Live, but we filmed it in our courtyard where the new members could attend in person with their families. It was 90°F for the 10 am service with lots of smoke coming in from the various fires throughout Northern California, but God blessed us nonetheless with this special gathering. Many thanks to Jonathan Sakakibara for his beautiful video that really captures the spirit of the day and to the buildings and grounds committee for helping with the set up.
