“Reformed and Continually Reforming” by Rev. Dr. Pamela Anderson
On October 31, 1517, Martin Luther posted his 95 edicts on the Wittenberg door of the Cathedral in Wittenberg, Germany challenging the institutional Church that it needed to drastically change its ways. Thus, the Protestant Reformation began. October 31 also celebrates All Hallows’ Eve (i.e. Halloween) which is the eve of All Saints Day on November 1 where we remember our loved ones who have gone before. So October 31 is a very important date in the calendar for Christians around the world.
