“I thank my God every time I think of you.”
Philippians 1:3
Today was my final Sunday at Parkview Presbyterian Church. I cannot begin to say what an honor it has been to have been your Pandemic Pastor for such a time as this. This has been a challenging and traumatic time on a global level and to have been in community with you has been a comfort and a gift. Whenever I sign off on my letters in the Chapel Chimes you may have noticed that I have quoted the same scripture each time from the book of Philippians 1:3. “I thank my God whenever I think of you.” Apostle Paul wrote this when he was in jail and having a challenging time. The community surrounded him with love and support. This is what I have felt at Parkview: a lot of love and a lot of support. Just know how much you are loved and appreciated and I thank my God every time I think of you. Blessings from your Parkview Pandemic Pastor, Pamela
