In Honor of Wangari Maathai
During worship service on February 20, 2022, Parkview honored the life and work of Wangari Maathai, the 2004 Nobel Peace Prize laureate. We were blessed to have Sella Ayugi, Kamau Kinuthia & Wangari Kinuthia join us to help bring context to Ms. Maathai’s life.
During the service, we watched “The Story of the Hummingbird” as told by Wangari Maathai. You can view the video below.
