Aloha Sundays are back at Parkview. Every August we wear comfortable island clothing and leis. This tradition dates back to when we had no air conditioning. Our Sundays are cool now, but we still like to wear our muumuus, Aloha shirts, and other comfortable clothing. Reusable leis will be distributed upon entry to the church. Our Aloha Fest will take place on Aug 20 after worship service.
Even though you’ll often hear “aloha” used as a greeting, it’s also a way of life. You can use aloha to send out kindness, positive intentions, and respect to others. That’s what we strive for at Parkview. Aloha!
