Please join us at Parkview on January 12, 2025, 11:30 am, as we ring in the new year with mochi making and a book reading! Local writer Sharon Fujimoto-Johnson, the author and illustrator of “The Mochi Makers,” published by Simon & Schuster earlier this year, will read her book. Sharon will stay to sign her books, which will be available on site to purchase ($20 or $15 each for multiple copies). Afterward, children and adults can make their own mochi in the kitchen.
