The Florin JACL-Sacramento Valley Chapter honored our very own Titus Toyama at its 90th anniversary luncheon on January 10, 2026. Titus received the Leadership Award. It was a well-deserved accolade for one of Parkview’s leaders.
The Japanese American Citizens League was founded in 1929 and is the oldest and largest Asian American civil rights organization in the United States. Its mission is to secure and maintain the civil rights of Japanese Americans and all others who are victimized by injustice and bigotry.
Many thanks to Judy Fukuman for the photos.
