Our Ministries

Parkview Presbyterian Church is an open and inclusive multicultural church. We are called to serve our community in multiple ways.

Community Engagement. Parkview is a Matthew 25 church. Matthew 25:31–46 calls all of us to actively engage in the world around us, to act boldly and compassionately to see our neighbors through Jesus’ eyes and serve those who are marginalized or in need — people who are hungry, thirsty, naked, sick, imprisoned, strangers, poor or oppressed in other ways and in need of welcoming.

Children’s Ministry. Parkview serves its youth during the school year with YES, Youth Enrichment Session.

Prayer Team. Our Prayer Team was formed to combine many voices raised in prayer for the needs of our church family, friends, and our local and global communities as well as to support each other and to strengthen our individual prayer practices.

Healing Prayer Team. [Link coming soon.] Parkview Church has a trained healing prayer team willing to pray with anyone who would like to spend time in God’s loving presence and pray for physical, emotional, spiritual or deliverance healing. Rev’s Sarah and Dwight Nave and Parkview Church members are equipped in God’s ministry of healing prayer based on the model taught by Francis and Judith MacNutt of Christian Healing Ministries in Jacksonville, FL.

Iama Yoga. [Link coming soon.] Їama Embodied Ministries is a New Worshiping Community that bridges Christian spirituality with embodied practices like yoga, somatic movement, and breathwork. Rooted in the belief that healing was central to Jesus’s ministry, we recognize that true transformation happens through the body as well as the mind.

Residency Program. Pastoral residents have enriched our church in indescribable ways. Kindly note that we are currently not accepting any applications.
